Pomodoro Timer: Boost Productivity with Focused Work Sessions

Use the Pomodoro technique to work in focused 25-minute sessions with short breaks. Stay productive and avoid burnout throughout the day.

What It Does

The Pomodoro Timer implements the Pomodoro technique with configurable work sessions (default 25 minutes), short breaks (5 minutes), and long breaks (15 minutes after every four sessions). It tracks your completed pomodoros and sends browser notifications when sessions end.

How to Use It

Click Start to begin a 25-minute work session. Focus on your task until the timer rings. Take a 5-minute break, then start the next session. After four sessions, take a longer 15-minute break. Adjust session durations in the settings.

Tips & Tricks

Close distracting tabs and notifications during work sessions. If you think of an unrelated task, write it down and return to it during your break. Start with the default 25/5 timing and adjust based on your personal focus patterns.

Use Cases

Remote workers structure their day with focused work intervals. Students use timed study sessions to maintain concentration during exam preparation. Writers overcome procrastination by committing to just one 25-minute writing sprint at a time.
